Instead, this year I celebrated in a mini way by visiting my neighbor and eat moon cakes and drink tea. It's was enjoyable. We chat away about Korean drama while drinking tea. LOL!~
There was also a school event about this festival held in my school on the 10 Sept organised by the Chinese association. The plays and dance were very interesting. I especially enjoyed one senior group where it was a story about 4 friends who went up a Hot-Air balloon.
The story goes like this:
So in the first year, all of them met up and the inventor created a hot-air balloon. The 4 friends went on it. Up on the sky, they saw the beautiful land and everything under them. All of a sudden, blistering thunders came by. However, the inventor only brought 3 parachutes, he forgotten the other. Ladies First. In order to be fair, the inventor would ask a question and they would need to answer it to get the parachute. So the first 2 questions were answered correctly by the girls and they had the parachute and jumped down. Then when the inventor asked the young man with the fan a question, the young man could not answer and he was pushed down from the hot air balloon leaving the last parachute for the inventor.
The second year came by, the 3 friends were remorse as the young man with the fan died. To their surprised, he lived! Die hard eh? And off they ride on another new hot-air balloon. So on another mid-autumn festival, they saw the land and everything beautiful under them. However, suddenly, a flock of birds came by and they had to jump down from the hot air balloon again. As the inventor did not know that his friend lived, therefore he only brought 3 parachutes. They used the method as they did last year. Q&A time. Results?: The first 2 questions were answered correctly again by the girls and they had the parachute and jumped off. Then when the inventor asked the young man with the fan a question, the young man could not answer and this time he volunteered to jump down himself from the hot air balloon leaving the last parachute for the inventor.
So, I wish you Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 中秋节快乐!
