End of Semester Part 1

Ah... Finally after coming back home for more than a week now, relaxation takes place every day. "Smiles everyone!"

Well, i would say this is the BEST and the Craziest semester that i've ever been through~

Let me continue what i've gone through from the last post:

-We had our annual dinner at East Wood golf course. This year. it was open air. One thing not so good about it was that we had alot of blood donations going on to the mosquitoes as the surroundings were ponds of water~ It was our last year in Miri as well. So we had a farewell by the IPG. Our class video was presented there as well. It was a night full of nice memories (Except for the mosquito part) as i took lots of pictures with my friends. ;)

-so we had our drama workshop with form 3 students of SM Sains.  We split ourselves into different groups and my group with Josman and Leon was to introduce to the students different types of Drama Technique. One thing special from oour group was that we prepared notes and used Prezi as our presentation.  \(*w*)/ yay!
and besides that we were the facilitator of different groups. Leon and I were the facilitators of Group 5. I was also a last minute emcee. But i had fun, tho was stress in some time. And i was the assistant secretary as well. So i've gain some experienced that typing a letter is not easy you know... Overall, I had a wonderful experience. :D

-We had our drama presentation as well. and thank God that it is over. the preparation really killed alot of our time. I was the leader this time. Tho pretty scared, but i took up the challenged. We had to create and edit the script several times and preparation for the costumes, adjusting for the settings/backdrop. I thank God that our group was very cooperative and i really enjoyed working as a group. What helped us was having reflection session together after every practice session. We also had an outing together to reward ourselves at KFCK: one of the best burgers in Miri, cum in celebration with Suk Hua's Birthday. I really hope to have good results in this subject if not all efforts are useless. huhuhu (~.~)

-there was also a class outing to appreciate the Lecturers who have taught us: TESL dinner. It was at Fratinni's : Italiano

During the process, of organizing the dinner, there were alot of hiccups but thank God at the end, it was smoothly held. I would say it was a good gathering.

3rd Semester, Year 2

Looks like i haven't post here for quite some time.

Anyways, here are the latest updates!

This semester, we're in gear 5 full blast to survive.
We're having 5 subjects which are
1. Thinking Skills in Education
2. Curriculum and Pedagogy
3. Psycholinguistics in Language Teaching
4. Pendidikan, Pengenalan dan Pembangunan Keusahawanan
5. Drama in Schools.

So, our time is pretty hectic and packed. Because instead of a 4 months course, we have compacted it into a 2 months course. Here's a stanza on which I created when i was too under pressured:
so many things to do
in so little time
may God lead and guide us

Life here is so stress and tough. But actually, I'm kinda enjoying it with God's strength.

And my Keusahawanan group also had a business going on from the 26th-29th October. Thank God that it was successful. And it was a wonderful experience as well.

But finally, at 2am in the morning, there was heavy rain. And I collected rain water to bath. Back to basics. It's definitely an experience i'll never forget.

Had:

Partied hard!, Supper, movie, luncheon, dinner, afternoon tea. 

And today, I had 2 milo packets, 2 doughnuts(with the price of one) and a wonderful dinner by receiving abundant gifts- the shoes and bag.

Tough Lesson

Exam ended finally on this day. After being in Miri for 12 days, it had finally ended!

I guess my mood now is suppose to be happy. As i'm now untangled from stress, worries and last minutes studies. However, I guess today is not really a day for me.

Being really sad and disappointed in myself though. I didn't get to finish today's paper.

Lesson learnt: Don't be bothered by minor details. Get enough rest. Hope I won't repeat the same mistake ever again. It's really costly. A lesson learnt to prevent from happening again in all future exam and assignment time.

Well, to console my soul, the pain got a little subsided with the fact that I'm going back for my two months break. Hopefully by then, I won't feel that down like I am right now. The pain is horrible man.

One Day

And never again will they look down on me. Ever. One day, you watch out. 

Cupcake!

o yesh! i've nearly forgotten.

i went to Abigail's house on the 12th June. and Baked Cupcakes! It turned out we baked 5.
That was a post birthday gift from her to me.
Hannah, Abi and I were together in this baking session. Tho it was a short time together, but every moment counts. :) had fun!

Maybank, Negotiate, Birthday!

Today, alone, was sent to Suria to study But....

i walked all the way to BSN to withdraw, as i thought: since i'm going back to Miri de, might as well, take some money out. and then i walked past by Maybank, and i thought, mind as well create an account since i'm here and i have the time. ehhehhe

so in 45 minutes, i made an account de. hehehhehe. so now can use the online maybank2u account for smoother transaction. :)

o and i went to negotiate with Excel dive concerning about our class to go to KK trip: to kill of credit hours. I'd discussed about the transportation. and turned out that i discussed about the package about the Island trip. :) It's the cheapest de. at the end, we cancelled the transport with them and plan to take the transport of IPG Kampus Gaya.

oo and today is Ching jie jie birthday! celebrated at Nagisa, Hyatt. It was a wonderful night. Our family bought her something from Loccitane. Hope she loves it. :D

Church, Rain, Madagascar

Today Assistant Bishop John Yeo, formally CCL archdeacon came to CCL to preach! It was a surprise. so glad to see him. and today's preaching was about unity. that we are one body. that 2 words, apathy and ignorance should not be in our dictionary. and problems when arise, we should not judge. we can talk about it. but we also have to find a solution for it instead of just talking and making the problem even more bigger. and after the results, it's a time of restoration and healing within one another. we should not be divided as a family.

3. every person plays a part.

Overall, i think this sermon applies to everyone's life whether in the family, school or workplace. 

really enjoyed sermon today. and the hymn.

Rain. Today from morning till night, light drops of rain kept falling. made the whole KK cool off from the heat. really loved it tho~

and watched Madagascar 3D today with my relative. It was an AWESOME show. the effects were really great! really like how they dance. it just interconnect with one another. oo. and this story reminds me of water for elephant. o.O

[and i went to Sushi Tei and ate chawanmusho today :P hehehe]

Yam pudding cake, Holy Spirit Weekend, Nokia Lumia 710

went to UR Way cafe and bought yam pudding. hehehe. havent eaten it yet tho...

Holy Spirit Weekend:

i went to a holy spirit weekend camp in Beringgis resort from the 8-9 june 2012. a total number of 18 people from CCL youth joined this wonderful camp.

[Lately(like in May and June), i've been learning alot about the Holy Spirit. I truly believe the Lord is guiding me in my life now~ its a sign. coz when i was a miri, I've learnt about Act 2 through Bible study and church sermons. while when i'm back here, another church sermon also says about the Holy Spirit. and now, there's a Holy Spirit Weekend!]

Through this camp, i've got to understand more and found out that the Holy Spirit is a person. And when praying, it actually involve 4 person, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and me! 

We also went to Klias and saw the proboscis monkeys in the evening and fireflies at night. Fireflies are super tiny small like the size of the rice. and from afar, we saw some trees which looked like chirstmas trees- filled with LED light [the fireflies].

We played TABOO! as well. till 2am. ahhaha. 

and at the last day, we learnt on how can we live our lives to the fullest. It involves time, ambition, ears, eyes, hands, body (sex), SELF, money and tongue. 

Overall, I really had fun. It in facts makes this holiday even more meaningful!

and... hehehe.. i got a new phone today!!!!! whee!~ i really Thank God and my parents for providing me this phone.

i really needed a phone for quite some time already. coz the old phone really could not hold on any longer and it died yesterday... 

So in my life, my first phone was a nokia-i-mobile-sony ericson -and now back to Nokia.  

ah... Love this holiday~

MIB3, suria Library, airasia

watched a movie alone today. always wanted to try it out alone. and finally did. weird experience.

suria library is kinda small. if you study at the place where tables and chairs are provided, it turns out pretty noisy as the floor above is promoting the kaamatan sales. =.=''' so it's kinda ironic. but overall. i think the location of the library is the best.

and i just bought my ticket back to miri for exam. RM 123. nice number eh. hehe

Finally got the chance to eat the steak in JJ's. gosh. so juicy and deli-cious!

Birthday, Airasia, Movie

Birthday:
today is a very special day. i came all the way from Miri to celebrate Iz birthday! she's such a beauty tonight. i'm really happy to be here, eventho it's just for a few hours of meeting her. we had oxtail soup, pudding, awesome chocolate cake, corn rice, nescafe, tom yam soup, jawa satay, chicken wing, sausage, ......etc etc etc.

Airasia:
yup, yesterday on Friday, i nearly missed my flight. ahahaha. the gate was gonna close. i didnt realise that it was boarding coz the screen didnt even flash BOARDING. and i suddenly realise that the whole area in the waiting room was so blank. neeways, i finished watching the first Bourne before i missed the flight!

movie:
Yup. tonight, with everyone in signal hill, we watched The Vow, touching movie~ oo, and i wanna watch the Hunger Game. hopefully can watch it on a Movie day in miri! coz besides movie day, the price would be so unreasonable where it does not even correlate with the place. it's like before the renovation of growball but pricing is double. o.o what a joke.

Kuching, Announcment, Blackout

Well, for the past one week during the school holiday, i went to Kuching for a week! hehe

Kuching:
Hmm... it's a pleasant place to stay. food prices are fair. Pictures can be found in my FB in Kuching Wonderland.

Announcement:
For the very first time yesterday, i heard my name in the airport. ahahhaha. what an experience!

Blackout:
have you ever experienced blackout in the airport? i did. just yesterday. and my gosh. the whole housing estate nearby was blackout too. feels so weird. but after 30 minutes, things were back to usual again. :) hehe

tomorrow, i'm going to continue my semester again. it's pretty though i would say.
By the grace of God, everything will go on smoothly. In Jesus name, Amen.

Steak, 24, Netbook

As i was sick for the pass few days, with terrible sore throat, flu,  and fever, I'm not encourage to have hot food intakes such as laksa and  fried stuff you know. Tonight outing dinner with relatives was a place where steak is cooked best. I have been longing to go to try it out for a Loooong time already. And of all the days, it was today that i can't have it. Do you know the feeling of having people surrounding you eating that juicy, tender, freshly cooked meat in front of you? Gosh, I've experienced it and I know. The Feel. But to think it in a positive manner, Steak! you wait for me to try you. I'll surely eat you one day! at JJ's Steak place, Damai.

It's a new game introduced by Sam. In every 4 digit car plate number that you see, try to total it up to 24. somehow, it always works. 

Rule 

#1 You can only use the number once. 

#2 You can add, subtract, multiply and divide. As many times as you want.

It's gonna be fun! So when you're stuck at the traffic lights every time, try to hit 24. It's a challenge! 

It's been a while since i was thinking of switching into a new lappie. Thought of a net book as it is light. And then there is this tablet from Asus that i like. But the thing is that, when you want to print something, it can only be printed thru a wireless printer... So there is a need of thinking brain cells in order to decide which net book will give me more benefit than the others. What I want?: a light net book with good processor. I need to do my work fast.

Small, Ubuntu, Sick

Yup. The 3 different words are the headlines today.

Through the perspective of knowledge, o boy, i feel so small. So small that whenever i discover something, i feel as if : wow!, I was so unintelligent the whole time. But to look at a different point of view, sometimes, maybe it's not my field of expertise to actually know some things more deeper and to look at it at the long run. Or maybe, it wasn't the right time.

I've discovered something called Ubuntu during the hols. It's actually pretty simple and easy. Will be downloading it soon. ^^

Been feeling sick for a few days despite knowing the fact that i should be resting instead of still entertaining myself the whole time. Guess I was pretty stubborn all these while as I didn't want to visit the doctor. But i still did. This whole time, my fever comes at night and subsided in the morning. Actually I was pretty worried as I knew a friend who came back from the Peninsula and he had fever for quite some time already but never suspected that it was Denggi. He ended up in hospital for 3 days. I also knew a secondary school teacher when  he just came back from the Peninsula, he had fever for the past few days, and after one week, he just pass out.  So moral of the story: Go visit the Doctor if have 3 consecutive days of fever. It might be Denggi of Malaria or just plain fever. Go cure yourself before it's too late.

2012

woah!! It's been a long time since i updated my blog here. So here i'm gonna revive it again by starting a new way of updating myself. By expressing it with 3 (most meaningful/memorable) words daily with a little story behind it. Of course. As often as possible.

And CNY is here and is going to end soon tho~ It's the year of the (water) dragon!
Actually, there are many things in fact i want to share. But i just got lazy in typing and prefer to verbally speak it.

Anyways, to start off. Here's the First 3 words of the day.

Fu Juk. Barley. Birdnest. 

It's my favorite type of "Tong Sui" - Chinese Dessert Delicacy. Normally it's served with Bak Guo. But today, I've tasted it with Birdnest in my relatives place. Simply awesome. :)
