Over. :)

Woots! First Year is over.

Well. Time sure flies. Experiencing life in Miri is sure interesting.
Miri: It's a small place. Was named a city a few years ago. Not many entertainment places, but of course, there are places which are quite interesting. Food,CB and so on. hehe

Studying in IPGKS has taught me:
Independence- As I've been staying in my shell all these years, this place has indirectly taught me how to do the basic living skills such as washing clothes, finding food/places etc etc. Get to do things without my parents Eagles eye view. Tho i think i'm still not firm in some cases. But, overall, the decision to come to study here is something that i chosen and should have taught of all consequences. No regret actually.

I've also meet a variety of new friends from different options- Seniors, My Class, My Hostel mates, Juniors. I'm really happy to know them.
We've also been to lots of places. As a class, we've been to places such as Lambir, Harts Chicken Rice and also the Institute's annual dinner. I've also joined choir and sometimes TICF. It's really enjoyable too as there is a beach nearby, 5 minutes walk only (where there is also a stall selling deep fried stuff which is delicious to eat if you walk a bit further). Going out with friends together is also exciting if we go on by bus to the city to buy stuff. Going to church with my friend too is also enjoyable as we get to buy food after that. Food is essential. I would say that i'm also very blessed to have friends who have cars to drive me around and that makes me get to know Miri more and more. Discover the place where actually, Miri, I would say, got lots of food places to enjoy. This gives me the opportunity to know Sarawak's Identity Food: Kon Lo Mee, Laksa, Siew Bee, Fried Marudi Kuih Tiaw/ Bai Guo/ Guo Tiao which is really really nice. It's so awesome that you must actually try it out to believe! Going exercise with friends also makes me motivated to be much more healthy and cut down some weight.

I'm also delighted to know that the lecturers here are great. I'm happy to be under them as well. It makes class interesting.

So.. That's it for this year. Enjoying Christmas time this year in KK!
Happy Christmas!
